NEON Enterprise Software, Inc. Releases New IMS Products and Enhanced Versions of IMS Utilities for Continuous Application Availability and CPU Reduction
SUGAR LAND, TX. – August 21, 2006 –– NEON Enterprise Software, Inc. (NESI) announced today the release of two new IMS products, Eclipse iRepair and Eclipse iLM, and an enhanced suite of IMS solutions that provide uninterrupted application availability and reduce CPU usage by an additional fifty percent when performing database reorganizations.

The new Eclipse iRepair solution allows users to view, analyze and repair IMS database data sets and other z/OS data sets with exceptional ease. Eclipse iLM provides a comprehensive set of tools for cleaning and maintaining IMS and CICS libraries, assuring database integrity and increased database availability.
In addition to Eclipse iRepair and Eclipse iLM, NESI also released enhanced versions of its IMS solutions. The enhanced Eclipse Reorganization Utilities reduce CPU usage and elapsed time for database reorganizations by an additional fifty percent. Database Director has improved Fast Path database processing, and provides continuous application availability while performing an online reorganization. The enhanced version of Mission Control includes new trend and database analysis features that enable time-based management of databases so the user can track the state and status of a database over a specified period.
