NEON Enterprise Software Exhibits at the 2007 Data Governance Conference
NEON Enterprise Software’s Craig Mullins and Tim Snow Present on Requirements and Challenges of Data Archiving
SUGAR LAND, TX. – June 22, 2007 – NEON Enterprise Software, Inc., the technology leader in enterprise data availability software and services, today announced it will be exhibiting at the Data Governance Conference in San Francisco on June 26 and June 27. The company will have a strong presence at the conference—Craig Mullins, Chief Technologist with NEON Enterprise Software, and Tim Snow, software consultant with NEON Enterprise Software, will each be presenting during the conference.
Required data retention periods have ballooned from months or years to decades. This coupled with the rapid rise in data volumes and the need to provide archived data on demand, means companies must build solid practices for archiving data from operational databases. Snow’s presentation, taking place on June 26 from 11:30 a.m.-Noon, will review requirements for archiving data and how NEON Enterprise Software’s data archiving product TITAN Archive, helps companies meet those requirements.
Mullins, who is scheduled to present on June 26 from 1:15 p.m.-2:15 p.m., will cover the basics of an archiving methodology and the issues that require special consideration in building a database archiving practice. Topics covered will include application independence, metadata independence, data authenticity, change management, storage management and access control.
The NEON Enterprise Software booth (# 301) will be open on June 26 from 5:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. and from 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. on June 27. Giveaways will include TITAN Archive notebooks and demo CDs.
