Executive Team
Members of our executive management team have spent their careers building and managing successful software companies.
Lacy H. Edwards, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer
Chief Executive Officer Lacy H. Edwards is responsible for setting the overall strategic direction for NEON Enterprise Software. Edwards has been leading high technology businesses for more than 35 years, with 18 years as CEO of companies such as Indicative Software, Evoke Software, Unison Software, Servio Corporation, and XA Systems Corporation. Edwards' recognitions include Insider Magazine "CEO of the Year," Harvard Business School Club of New York "Entrepreneur of The Year," Honeywell Division "Manager of the Year," and twice placing companies in the Inc. magazine's list of "500 Fastest Growing Companies." Edwards is a nationally known public speaker and served in the U.S. Marine Corps.
Jack Olson, Chief Technology Officer
Jack Olson is a visionary who has worked 35 years developing
innovative software. Over his career he has made important contributions
to technology in database, database management, and data quality
areas. Jack has been awarded several patents, has been recognized
as an expert author in industry publications, and recently authored
a book entitled Data Quality: The Accuracy Dimension from Morgan Kaufmann Publishers.
Previously, Jack worked in software development for IBM, BMC Software,
Peregrine Systems, and Evoke Software. Jack has a BS degree from
the Illinois Institute of Technology, and an MBA from Northwestern
University.
Angela Tucci, Chief Strategy Officer
Angela Tucci brings more than 15 years of marketing experience to her role as NEON's Chief Strategy Officer, where she is responsible for identifying opportunities and focusing on go-to-market strategies and messages. Before NEON, Angela was Vice President of Marketing at Indicative Software, where she was responsible for conceiving and directing the company's product and marketing strategies. Prior to Indicative, Tucci led marketing strategy efforts at Leopard, Terraspring, Inc., Clarify Corporation, and NewChannel. Angela earned her physics degree from Princeton University and her MBA from Stanford University.
Donald Ray Odom, Sr.,
Chief Marketing Officer
Donald Odom, Sr, has built successful customer relationships
at both large and small technology companies. By working closely
with customers, he has been able to understand and address their
needs with innovative products and support services.
After fourteen years at IBM, Odom became one of the first four
employees at BMC. At BMC, Odom developed the company’s technical
support group, a group responsible for on-site installations and
training. He improved customer satisfaction and built channel vendor
relationships at BMC, and later, at Peregrine Systems, Inc. Odom
holds a BBA in accounting from Texas Southern University in Houston.
Preetish Nijhawan,
Chief Financial Officer
Most recently, Preetish was Vice President of Strategic Alliances at NeoEdge Networks, a video game advertising company. Preetish was also Vice President, Portfolio and Program Management for BMC Software, Inc.. Prior to BMC, he was Vice President, Operations of iVita Corporation, a Houston-based asset management software startup he helped found.
Preetish has also counseled senior executives on hardware, software and telecommunications industries for McKinsey and Company, a leading consulting firm. He co-founded Akamai Technologies (NASDAQ: AKAM) in 1998, He also worked for nearly six years in the Electronic Design Automation Division at Intel in various engineering related capacities.Preetish earned a bachelor's of engineering degree in electrical and electronics engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, India, a master's of science in computer engineering from The University of Southern California, and an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management.
Wayne E. Webb, Jr., Senior Vice President and General Counsel
Wayne E. Webb, Jr. is highly experienced in serving as
counsel for technology companies. He has worked extensively in securities
offerings, labor issues, intellectual property matters and corporate
governance. Representative clients include Dell Computer corporation, Compaq Computer Corporation, Staktek, Inc., Sematech, MCC, Citibank, NA, Taco Cabana, Cilco, Intervoice, Inc., First Data, Inc, General Electric Corporation, University of Houston, Columbia University, Petrolite, Inc., Exxon Production Research, Hydrill, Inc., Big Three Industries, Inc., Interdigital Corporation, AMD, Inc., as well as Neon Systems and Neon Enterprise Software as General Counsel.
Prior to joining Neon Enterprise Software,Wayne was a partner with Fulbright and Jaworski, LLP. At Fulbright, Wayne was the head of the firm's Intellectual Property practice in Austin, Texas and Co-Chair of the Information Technology litigation group firm wide. He is a graduate of Rice University, Houston, Texas, and of The University of Texas School of Law.
Craig S. Mullins, Corporate Technologist
Craig S. Mullins is a well-known author, lecturer, and columnist on current topics in the DB2 and mainframe world. Craig has over two decades of experience in all facets of database systems development. He is a frequent lecturer and contributor to computer industry publications, including Data Management Review, DBMS, DB2 Update, DB2 Magazine, Oracle Update, SQL Server Update, and many more. He is also the author of two books on DB2 and database administration: DB2 Developer’s Guide and Database Administration: The Complete Guide to Practices and Procedures. He graduated cum laude from the University of Pittsburg with a double major in Computer Science and Economics, and a minor in Mathematics.
John Lipinski,
Vice President of Business Development
John Lipinski is the VP of Business Development of NEON Enterprise Software, where he is responsible for driving growth through the expansion of technology and solutions partners. Previously, Lipinski served as VP of Worldwide Sales and Services for Tonic Software, a web application management company, and managed over 300% revenue growth for two consecutive years. John has also served as Director of North American Sales for NEON Systems where he led accelerating revenues that were instrumental to an Initial Public Offering in 1999. John started his career as a software developer, holding various positions at BMC Software and IBM. Lipinski holds a BBA from the University of Texas at Austin.
Robin Reddick,
Vice President of Marketing & Communications
Robin Reddick, Vice President of Marketing and Communications, is responsible for the success of the company’s corporate and product marketing strategy. Robin has an extensive background in communications and customer service. Prior to joining NEON Enterprise Software, Robin worked for Bindview Corporation, managing Technical Support, establishing several new service programs. At BMC Software, Robin held several management positions, leading Information Development worldwide, Technical Support for the Americas and was also responsible for developing the company's first Usability group. Prior to joining BMC, Robin was the principal of Reddick & Associates, providing business and technical communications services to Fortune 1000 companies. Robin has a BS in Finance from the University of Houston.
Thilo Rockmann,
Managing Director, Europe
Thilo Rockmann leverages more than 12 years of experience in information technology to his role as Managing Director of JME Ventures Europe. Rockmann is a motivated leader with a proven management track record as an IT director and innovative project management and technical skills as a systems engineer and technology consultant. He has extensive experience with large scale communications networks, databases, business applications, and IT infrastructure. Prior to joining JME Ventures Europe, Rockmann held positions as IS director for Easynet and Ision Internet and technical positions with Sun Microsystems and Arthur Andersen (now Accenture). Thilo holds a diploma in physics from the University of Hamburg and an MBA from the University of Wales.
