NEON HALO for Database Conversion |
|
 |
HALO™
HALO is a powerful new solution that provides near-continuous database availability during IMS database conversions. Online outages are reduced from hours to just seconds, allowing you to convert even the most critical databases.
HALO supports most full function conversions, such as conversions from non-partitioned databases to HALDB conversions. Using HALO, you can also make structure changes, tuning changes, and changes for hardware data compression (HDC). For Fast Path databases (DEDBs), you can make the same types of changes with HALO/FP. HALO and HALO/FP provide a comprehensive solution for all of your IMS databases.
Now, you can satisfy ongoing business demands without inconveniencing customers, risking lost revenue or business opportunities, or creating customer service issues due to an extensive application outage during IMS database conversions or restructuring. You do not have to sacrifice performance for availability, with HALO and HALO/FP you can have both.
